Sort Master: Puzzle Sorting is a logic-puzzle game. The player must progress through levels by performing various mini sorting and other tasks. They don't win any currency or other rewards. Their only goals are to overcome each challenge and unlock new levels.
The player faces the tasks against different backdrops that match the theme of each mini puzzle. The steps for the tasks come from a wide range of popular types of games.
Yet, the game doesn't provide any rules. The player must guess their job on each level. They commonly need to complete block puzzles, career simulations, food arranging or plating, home cleaning or renovation, item matching, object repair and pet care. For example, the player might need to match kitchen utensils to background silhouettes in a drawer or place items on trays by color, size or type.
Sort Master offers two special tools in the upper-right corner to help the player. The player can select a button marked with a light bulb for a hint. They can use an arrow button to skip a level. That said, they must view advertisements to use these tools.
